HEIRLOOM. This Italian specialty, also known as Candystripe or Bull’s Eye, has round red roots with a striking bullseye pattern of white and fuschia rings inside. A festive and sweet addition to salads when shaved in thin slices. Greens are also delicious, and similar to spinach when cooked.

Chioggia beets can be direct seeded in the garden as soon as the soil is workable in spring, or in late summer for fall harvest. Plant in full sun for the plumpest roots, or part shade for tasty greens. Roots are typically ready to harvest in 54 days. 2 gram packet contains approximately 95 seeds.
